Advecti ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Advecti Driver mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates from your device while you are in an active driving session. This is essential for calculating earnings based on your position within designated advertising zones.
• BLE Beacon Data: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon proximity data to verify that the advertising wrap is physically present on your vehicle during active sessions.
• Driving Data: Speed, distance traveled, idle time, and session duration for earnings calculation and quality assurance.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.
• Photo Verification Data: Photos of your vehicle wrap submitted during onboarding and periodic verification checks.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Calculate and process your driving and idle earnings based on zone location and time periods.
• Verify BLE beacon connectivity to confirm advertising wrap presence.
• Provide real-time session tracking including speed, zone status, and earnings.
• Detect peak, off-peak, and no-pay time periods for accurate rate application.
• Share anonymized and aggregated campaign performance data with advertisers.
• Send notifications about session status, earnings updates, and important alerts.
• Improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

3. Location Data

Location tracking is only active during driving sessions that you explicitly start. We do not track your location when you are not in an active session. Location data is used to:

• Determine which earning zone you are in (inner zone, outer zone, idle bubble, or outside zone).
• Calculate distance-based qualifying miles.
• Apply correct pay rates based on your geographic position.

You can end your session at any time to stop location tracking.

4. Data Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Advertising Partners: Aggregated session data (driving hours, zones visited, impressions) is shared with campaign advertisers. This data does not include your personal contact information.
• Payment Processors: Payment information is shared with Stripe for processing withdrawals and identity verification.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, and notifications that may process your data on our behalf.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your session and earnings data for the duration of your campaign participation plus 12 months for tax and auditing purposes. Account information is retained until you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of certain data processing activities.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
